Lessons learned: Catching stars and dreams

“Yes: I am a dreamer. For a dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.”

― Oscar Wilde

I miss the time when everything was treated as a gift. Car keys, oranges, toffee wrappers and game dices, would all be placed over the refrigerator, and I’d try to reach them, and fail.

How ironic of us, is to grow up, and learn that sometimes we fail to reach ourselves too. Parts of you are waiting, over the refrigerator, inside the car, at the seashore and you’re short, not eligible to drive and scared of water, all the time.

You’re your own gift, learn to claim yourself as you stretch your hand.
